Perkin's Restuarant

Perkins has no official Gluten Free menu, so I've made one for you.

Perkins Restaurant has a great ingredients site.  You just put in what you want to look at and it
will show you every ingredient in that dish.

Unfortunately, it appears that the restaurants themselves do not have access to this in their own place.

One thing I have learned about most places, is, that they are willing to wipe down the cooking area before
making your meal if you ask them.  (always ask them!)

One last thing before I start.  ALWAYS ask if they fry everything in the same oil! Some restaurants use the same oil to fry everything they have in, so there is a good chance of cross-contamination in your foods.
The later in the day, the worse it will be.

 BREAKFAST

Starting with the Awesome Omelettes
Order fresh fruit instead of the pancake, muffin, toast
Your best option is to order the 'make your own'
omelette.

Thing to be aware of (and you can ask that these be
cooked special w/o butter):
Broccoli is cooked in butter
Hollandaise Sauce contains both wheat and milk ingredients
All the cheeses(for this dish) are fine for gluten free.
Sausage
Mushrooms
Diced Tomatoes
Bacon Pieces
Garden Mix
Broccoli
Fresh Spinach
Fresh Eggs

Everything on their Griddle Greats contains wheat and milk.
And I do mean everything.

  4. Restaurants like that are enough to make a guy to take up cooking.

  5. To be quite honest, I will never eat there again. After having a waiter swear up and down I could have the Key Lime Pie as it had NO dairy in it.....
